Do I have to leave my home when it’s being treated?

This depends on the treatment. If it involves spraying you have to leave the space where sprays are being applied for at least a couple of hours. You will be instructed of this beforehand.

These pests have different life cycles than other target species. During certain stages of their life cycles, treatments work only partially, so we have to catch them between these dormant cycles in order to fully manage their population.

I bought an Ant powder from my local hardware store, it's not solving my issue. Why?

Worker ants are excellent at finding food and they will venture into homes. As they forage, they leave behind pheromone trails that help other ants follow them. If you kill these ants when you see them, more workers will follow the pheromone trails and take their place. This means that no matter how many of these worker ants that you kill with your powder it will not solve the problem. PPS uses a method that eradicates the entire colony.
